Soundproofing
Detailed Description:
Soundproofing refers to measures that reduce the transmission of sound from a sound source to a receiver. Suitable measures (e.g., elastic surfaces, mass, separation of components) are primarily intended to prevent or reduce the transmission of sound. Our customers often mistakenly refer to sound reduction within a closed room as sound insulation. This sound reduction is called improvement of room acoustics/acoustics (= reduction or scattering of reflections).
