1/f noise, also known as pink noise, is noise that decreases with increasing frequency. In acoustics, 1/f noise is perceived as a sound in which the average person perceives all frequency ranges of the audible sound spectrum as approximately equal in loudness. In the time domain, it is a chaotic flicker.
