Detailed Description:
Room volume means that a sound or noise, e.g., speech, music, or electrical appliances, should be "barely perceptible" outside an apartment, especially in rooms above, below, or next to the disturbing sound source. As the term implies, the sounds should remain confined to the room in which the noise source is located.
