Third octave band
Detailed Description:
A third-octave band is the range between two cutoff frequencies that are in a specific ratio to each other. For example, the 125 Hz third-octave band covers the frequency range from 111 to 140 Hz. A third-octave band analysis provides more information than, for example, an octave band analysis.
