The reverberation time T60, or simply T, usually referred to as reverberation time RT in English, is the best-known parameter in room acoustics. Reverberation time is the time interval within which the sound pressure in a room drops to a fraction, in T60 to one thousandth, of its initial value when the sound source suddenly stops, which corresponds to a decrease in sound pressure level of 60 dB.
