Keyword:
Emission (sound emission)

Detailed Description:
In acoustics, sound emission (from Latin emittere = to send out) refers to the emission of sound (sound event) from a sound source. The measured variable associated with sound emission is the source strength, specified as sound power level Lw. In office environments, sound propagation often determines speech intelligibility within a room. The installation of sound absorbers, e.g., acoustic ceiling panels, acoustic images, soundproof ceilings/acoustic ceilings, acoustic elements, can have a significant positive impact on room acoustics and increase the ability of individual employees to concentrate.
