Detailed Description:
often referred to as dBA or A-weighted dB - The result of a measurement taken by a sound level meter with an active A-weighted filter network. This rating roughly corresponds to the behavior of the human ear. It is part of the standards for sound level measurements. The scale relevant to humans ranges from 0 dB to 140 dB. 0 dB refers to a sound pressure of 20µPa.
