Auralization can be used in building design to make the acoustic conditions in a room audible. Room acoustic auralization can be based on simulation calculations in a computer model of a virtual room or measurements in a real room. This allows the listening conditions in rooms to be demonstrated in advance and planning variants to be compared more directly than by parameter values.
